18/30 directors ⇢ Ridley Scott“A friend of mine says, ‘Art’s like a shark. You’ve got to keep swimming, or else you drown.’ Keep bouncing around. People always ask me what’s the plan. There is no plan. I go to what fascinates me next.”
It was on this day in 2093, the USCSS Prometheus touched down on LV223. This Christmas - stay on the ship, and have a very Merry Christmas!

Just read an article about Ridley returning to work on The Counselor after Tony’s tragic death. According to this article the buzz around Hollywood is that Scott will do Blade Runner after The Counselor and is only listed as a producer for Prometheus 2.
This is so complicated and such a hard thing for me to deal with. Personally, if push comes to shove and we can only have one or the other from him, I think I’d rather see Ridley do Blade Runner. I think that’s what he will want to do to. To be able to return to the landscape he created after his older brother’s death after the death of his younger brother could be a silver lining for him and could bring a ton of emotional depth to the film.
On the other hand, I believe Prometheus 2 could work in the same vein for Ridley especially with it’s subject matter.
I want my cake and eat it too but in the end I would want him to do whatever he feels he can benefit from.
